Founded in 1985 as a small antique and gift shop, The Library was purchased in 1995 by its present owner, Ed Fauteux. Ed ran the store as an antique and gift shop for the next 10 years constantly improving the quality of the gifts and antiques. With his 40 years of background in the clothing business, Ed has constantly introduced quality men’s and women’s clothing to augment the high end antiques and gifts from around the world.
With a keen eye and exceptional taste level, Ed and his staff have shaped the century old Danforth building in picturesque Williamstown into a series of shops dedicated to quality men’s and women’s clothing, elegant gifts and timeless antiques.
